I've been a techie all my life, all the way back to my days with my Tandy1000. But I never really learned to code, even though I have listend to shows about code, read about code, and fiddled just a little.
And of all things, Ruby has always facinated me. From Matz's philosophy of being a happy coder to the mystery dissaperance of Why_The_lucky_Stiff. I have always wanted to make magic with Ruby.
So, now that I'm fifty years old, I am diving into Ruby and plan on swimming in it. I want to become a Mystic Ruby Monk. The old wise coder. I will be a legend in my own mind!
But for now, I'll start with "Hello World."
